  • Blanchard, an unincorporated town, is located in the southern end of Bonner County on Highway 41, 13 miles south of Newport and only 35 minutes north of Coeur d'Alene. Blanchard has a rich history in logging and many regional historic sites are named after Blanchard's early pioneers. Blanchard is home to a 650-acre development known as StoneRidge, a golf and recreational community. Blanchard is surrounded by spectacular mountains and lakes, and has a mild four-season climate.
